Testing the Huawei P30 Pro (a loaner unit, esok-esok kena pulang balik…)

After dropping off me dotter to #skool this morning I went home and layan some work emails. Like, A lot of work emails. Emails were flying back and forth from the laptop to the clients’ if there’s a visual representation me think the graphics on the screens of #WarGames (the 1983 #muvee starring a young #MathewBroderick, yesh, I just kantoi’ed revealing my age oso here..) showing the trajectories of the nukes flying around is very the apt lah!

Sans the explosions.

Anyway, the sun decides to make an appearance and I already have in mind a particular spot in #Kajang where I wanna test the #HuaweiP30Pro #LeicaQuadcamera and the camera colours setting of ‘standard’ ‘vivid’ and ‘smooth’ (no, I have no idea whatever that means oso) so I shut down the laptop, donned my cycling gear and off we go on the #oldeskool #GTOutpostTrail #mtb..

ALL shots were handheld, #SOOC and I tried to get the framing as consistent as possible (not easy, handholding a very light phone as opposed a heavy #DSLR wan), here’s the unscientific “real world” result.

Pic One on “Vivid colours” setting…

Pic Two on “smooth colours” setting…

…and last but not least, pic Three on “standard” setting.

P. S. I have about 8 weeks to play-play with the #Leica #LeicaQuadcamera, let’s see at the end of the loaner preiod nanti, how lah I “feel” about this smartphone thats slant heavily towards photography.

Maybe I dontch really need that Fuji XT-30 as a vlogging camera after all

😉
